We did this once for a sermon on "Taking out The Trash". We prefilmed it of course--but our pastor got up during the announcement and his wife interuppted him that he had forgotten to take out the dirty diapers at home. He ran out the back door and we started the film. We shot him speeding down the road-running into his driveway--taking out the trash and back to the church. We had people looking out the door to see when he was coming back. They really believe it was a live shot. (It wasn't even shot at the same time of day). Anyway--it worked. Love it-your pastor wore shorts!!!

man. great vid idea. kinda reminds me of one time when i was younger and went to BigStuf and Lanny Donoho exited the building with a 'live camera' in hand and chronicled his miniature trip. really got the audience involved.
might have to go to GCGC website to check the msg out. the vid peaked my interest!
